Terms of Service

1. What Voix is

Voix reads recent messages from inboxes you connect (currently Gmail), ranks them by likely importance using an AI model, and delivers a short spoken summary plus optional draft replies. Voix is a tool that helps you triage messages faster. Voix is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.

2. Who can use Voix

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must own or be authorised to access the email account you connect.
• You must use Voix lawfully and in accordance with your employer or organisation policies, if applicable.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
• You are responsible for actions taken under your account, including any emails sent on your behalf via Voix.
• You may disconnect any inbox or delete your account at any time. Deletion processes are described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Pricing

• Voix offers a Free tier with limited daily briefings. Paid tiers are billed monthly in EUR via Stripe.
• Pricing visible at sign-up is the price you pay. We will give 30 days notice before any price change.
• Refunds: cancel at any time and your subscription will not renew. We do not refund partial months unless required by local consumer law.

5. Reply drafting and sending

• When Voix drafts a reply for you, the draft is generated by an AI model based on the original email. Drafts are best-effort and may contain factual or tone errors. You must review every draft before approving it.
• Voix sends a reply only when you take an explicit action (button click or voice command). Voix never sends emails on its own.
• You are the sender of any email sent through Voix. You are responsible for its content.

6. AI output disclaimer

The rankings, summaries, and draft replies that Voix produces are generated by AI models. They may be incorrect, misleading, or incomplete. Treat them as a starting point, not as a final answer. Do not rely on Voix output to make legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions without consulting a qualified professional.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Voix to:

• access mailboxes you do not own or have permission to use;
• send spam, phishing, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful messages;
• attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or the authentication system;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the model prompts or ranking logic for resale or competitive use;
• process personal data of others through Voix without a lawful basis under applicable data-protection law.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Voix depends on third-party services (Google, Anthropic, Vercel, Supabase, Clerk, Stripe) and inherits their availability. We will work in good faith to restore service after any outage.

9. Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Voix is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost opportunity arising from your use of Voix output.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if continued service exposes us or other users to legal or security risk. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our practices change. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes affecting paid subscribers we will give 30 days notice by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain, except where applicable consumer protection law grants you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
